My current mugs are certified dishwasher proof and microwave safe.

It is good practice to use a lower dishwasher temperature and use a small amount of detergent on all types of printed kitchenware to preserve the image quality.

I would suggest hand washing and use occasionally in the dishwasher to remove tea and coffee stains. A thick paste of sodium bicarbonate of soda and water, scrubbed lightly with a scouring pad will remove stubborn tea stains.
